Joshua Di Mattina-Beven (b. 2002, Wellington) is an emerging artist and creative producer currently working on unceded Gadigal land.

Their practice spans performance, video work, sculpture and text to question the limits of liveness and the possibilities of bodies in motion. With transformation as a key focus, they wonder how people, place and the more-than-human can come into temporary union and embrace states of indeterminate possibility.

Joshua graduated from UNSW Art and Design in 2024 with a double degree in Fine Arts/Arts (Sculpture/Performance Studies), winning the Ross Steele Fine Art Prize for highest achievement in Fine Art. They have gone on to receive highly commended at the Gosford Emerging Prize and are currently completing their Fine Art Honours at Monash University Art and Design.
